Biochar as a Soil Ammendment

Pure Biochar is a raw material with inherent properties which increase the water and nutrient holding capacity of soil. It also balances pH, reduces nitrate leaching and GHG emissions, and increases the carbon content of soils. When blended with fertiliser, the Biochar~Fertiliser blend makes a superb soil amendment, with significantly greater benefit than fertiliser alone, with the pure Biochar benefits listed above. Biochar can be applied by mixing into the soil, broadcast dry or in a slurry.
